Hi,
I just bought by brother a 4 GB Ipod Shuffle for his birthday without knowing all that much about it and neither of us are computer/technical savvy. I was unaware that you could only use Itunes to get music. My brother doesn't want to spend 1.00/song and would rather use Napster or something cheaper (such as a fixed price for month). Is there any possible way to download songs without using Itunes? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel awful because I bought this for him because I thought it would be economical and easy and now it's going to end up costing him more than I thought. I don't think I can return it as I had Apple "engrave" his initials on it. Thanks! |

ipods accept mp3 files, correct ?
I "believe" you can download your mp3 files from any source you choose (napster, kazaa etc), and transfer them onto itunes. I may be incorrect here as I don't actually own this software, but it would seem strange if you couldn't use your own mp3 files on your ipod. Anyway, just a suggestion, hope it helps. |
